Build looks pretty good and will handle VR well. There will be some discussion of the 6700K vs a 5820K but there are points on both sides.
Couple of small things, I would bump up your ram to between 2666 to 3000. As well, spend a little more and get a hybrid HDD. Last, unless you currently have it, the 840 EVO is an old model, current model is the 850 EVO.
