Question Working system turns on with video output but no post/OS ?

Hi All,

I have been using my current system for around 2 years and it has been great with few issues. Recently however, roughly once a month I am getting an issue where the system will crash and then not fully turn back on, or just not turn back on at all after a shutdown. Only one of these resulted in a BSOD which I think was a CRITICAL_MEMORY or along those lines.

Specs are:
Asus ROG Strix X570-F
Ryzen 5600X stock clock
EVGA 3080 FTW3 stock clocks
2 x 16GB Corsair Pro RGB 3200mhz (NB i have never been able to get this past 2800mhz ish stable)
Corsair SF750

I have tried:

• Clearing CMOS
• Leaving the PC off at the wall for 10 hours
• A different GPU
• Different boot drives

But this time around, nothing seems to be working (last time this happened, leaving it off overnight seemed to fix it).

The motherboard hardware test LEDs indicate no problems but I cannot get past the 4 blinking hyphens in the top left of the screen (which sometimes don’t come at all). In every instance there has been a video signal registered by the monitor.

Any ideas with what to try next would be great.
