What is the best workstation graphics card for $150?

By workstation card, you mean a card for things like CAD and photography work, correct? If thats the case, the Quadro k620 is the best you can get for that amount of money.

Like something that can execute scripts fast and video edit fast and things like that. (Like things that have to do with video editing).
I try doing it but it takes me 2 hours to render something in 1080P 60FPS.

Wait, so like a you tubing card? then just get a R9 270. it is around the same price, and should be fine for that.

Yeah I do watch youtube videos but I will also be rendering like friggin crazy, and using programs like Maya and those types of programs.

sorry I meant like capture and upload to youtube. I think the 270 will be fine for that, my 250x can almost do it, so i figure the twice as good card will be fine, what CPU do you have? that could be the source of a slow rendering issue.

My PC is very very old so I have an Intel Centrino (Also know as an Intel Core 2 Duo).

you have windows? for windows 7 hit start, right click on computer and select properties, or reboot and check in the bios. for eight I believe you have to go to PC settings

I just remembered, 2.3GHz is the clock speed.

yeah, I have on that runs at 2.4 GHz, and it is not strong enough, Even a better graphics card will not help much in this case, I am afraid you will need to upgrade, or try to find a core two quad that will work in that motherboard to allow better video rendering.

The amd Firepro has double the ram and a newer version, also it has more compute cores 512 to 192, even accounting for cudda cores being larger than stream proccesors, the AMD firepro with two gigs GDDR5 Ram is a more powerful choice.
