The cpu should be GREAT compared to your previous i3, also I really realy realy recommend you put a dedicated gpu in it, it does help when it comes to video editing just a cheap one, nothing more than $50, just make sure it is compatible with everything and fits in the case, (I once bought a gpu that didn't fit in my case, yet it was compatible with the motherboard.)
Good enough for what purpose? Video editing and rendering and the like likes a lot of cores and a lot of memory and big graphics. Work stations usually are targeted at a specific workload type.
