I need to find a source that lists or charts workstation cards sales - as in total numbers by model

Why do you ask?

I test CAD software and I want to have a good handle on what cards are the most used in that market. I found a company that generates AIB report but its quite costly and I am getting feedback from the vendors I work with but each vendor is reporting the results differently. I could use a simple chart with just models and numbers sold.

Regarding the other comment by Supermunche ..right free may not happen but inexpensive would be nice..

I would suggest you query a vendor like NewEgg. The data (if provided) would be anecdotal and certainly not all inclusive of the market. You could also ask AMD/ATI and Nvidia, via their customer support/marketing links. Otherwise, I know of no "free" or "cheap" way to gather this info.
