Question Workstation minimum specs, recommended, and max specs?

I want to learn all programs, what would be some min, rec, and max requirements for a workstation for rendering, adobe programs, etc.

When it comes to graphics design, animation, rendering, and CAD, then this is one of the few areas where AMD beats Intel hands down.

Intel cpu cores are good, but are limited in number. For a similar amount of money you can get a lot more AMD cores and threads. For those applications which make use of them then this is where the advantage in going AMD is as the efficiencies add up.

For example Photoshop will currently use every AMD core you have for rendering. So if you have 16 AMD cores rather than 8 intel ones you are on a winner.

16GB recommended and 32GB optimal RAM for high workloads inside those apps. Future proof as well if you go with DDR5.

A SSD is also recommended, although you can get away with a HDD.

You have to look at each specific program.

But...

32GB RAM.
All solid state drives.
Some applications benefit from a good GPU, others not so much.
