My friend wants to build a new workstation around the Ryzen 9 5950X. Currently he has the ASU AMD AM4 ROG X570 Crosshair VIII Hero ATX Motherboard in his cart. Mostly because its Asus and reviewed good, and checks the boxes for USB and PCIe slots. But its a gaming motherboard and he is not planning to game or overclock. Are there any other solid recommendations for a good mother board for productivity workstations builds with this processor? He wants a lot of USB 3 and at least one or two USB Cs. Build in blue tooth would be nice. Wifi is not necessary (the workstation is hooked up via LAN), but would be a nice to have. Preferable Asus or MSI (due to familiarity with their Bios).

Thank you.

Unless you are getting 10GE wired ethernet, there is no significant differences between "gaming" motherboards and "workstation" motherboards, for the same CPU.
Don't like LEDs -- Turn them off. Workstation motherboard.
