World Of Warcraft Graphical Problems [Blurry/Can't see names].

Hello guys,

I had this problem for more than a week now, this is really annoying, I mean very annoying.. it keeps me out of playing. So, let me explain all the stuff. I've made another thread about my problem and I fixed the previous problem, but now it seems that I have another one.

I rebooted my computer, with windows 7 Home Premium, and I deleted all of my windows.old folders. I installed all of my drivers for every part of my laptop (I'm using a Inspiron 17R 7720 SE. All was good, no problem at all, no driver corrupted, etc (I reinstalled it for more than 10 time to be honest). I restarted my laptop and I downloaded WoW. Once it was done downloading, I launched WoW with ''GeForce Experience'' so my gpu would directly switch to my nvidia one.

So yeah, once I logged in, it seemed that there was something wrong with my graphics, I checked on my Nvidia Control Panel and there was nothing wrong here.. there's my settings at this moment:

-Adjust image settings with preview : Use the advanced 3D image settings
-Preferred graphics processor : Auto-select

-Ambient Occlusion : Off
-Anisotropic filtering : Application-Controlled
-Anti aliasing FXAA : Off
-Anti aliasing Gamma correction : On
-Anti aliasing mode : Application Controlled
-Anti aliasing Transparency : Off.

I'm currently using a GT 650M.
8GB Rams
i5 - 3210M @2.50GHz
OS : Win7 64Bit

I've seen so many thread here and there but, it doesn't seem to help me, I also deleted the WTF folder when WoW wasn't running. Some people said that it was a DVI/VGA problem.. but i'm using a laptop so, it's not like i'm using a monitor.

Yes I did, and nothing seems to work fine for me. Still blurry and fuzzy.

For me wow even past max setting looks like crap. Are you playing at your native resolution? From the picture provided it looks fine.

Crank it to the ultra preset and see if it looks better.

yea my friend downloaded me a whole bunch of add ons that help things look a little better but for the most part wow is dx9 and still looks like crap. you can tweak the settings in the console to go over ultra but it really hurts your fps depending on what you choose to do.

there is a good youtube vid on it and some stuff for distance settings you might want to try

(Not trying to be a smart) Perhaps you have a problem with your laptop's display (i.e. the GPU is rendering right and thus your screen shot is fine but the monitor is displaying poorly)?

I had this problem a while back and was trying to remember the fix. Go to Control Panel/Display under Custom Text Size (DPI). My WoW works fine with "Use Windows XP DPI scaling" unchecked and DPI set to 175%. Try tweaking your settings and see if it makes a difference.
