World of warcraft pc

A good friend of mine would love to play wow and I'm thinking of making him a PC which could run wow at decent fps on good to high graphics.

I think I read previously that it's more of a cpu intensive game, rather than gpu.

Could someone perhaps chuck some ideas at me about the components to use to keep the system cheap as possible (probably about £500 give or take) whilst still keeping wow playable?

This was a quick mash, but the GPU and CPU would be able to handle WoW and a number of other games still. There's no OS, or mouse/keyboard etc, but for building one from parts I would guess you have access to some of that already.

What about picking these components up 2nd hand, you think they'd still be ok?
