Yes; a popular deck in Vintage is built around it. Basically you dump
WGD into your graveyard somehow (ideally with Bazaar of Baghdad, if
you're playing Vintage). Then you fish it out with Animate Dead. WGD's
ability triggers, removing all permanents other than itself from the
game, including Animate Dead. Animate Dead's leaves-play trigger then
takes effect, sending WGD to the graveyard; that trigger's the Dragon's
leaves-play trigger, causing all the permanents WGD removed from the
game to come into play - untapped. (In the typical Dragon deck, you then
tap all your lands for mana, and do some more deck-sifting with Bazaar
of Baghdad.) Among the permanents that come into play is Animate Dead,
which you get to pick a new recipient for - oh, how about that
Worldgorger Dragon in your graveyard?
You need to eventually introduce another creature you can animate (it's
not a good idea to count on your opponent to have one), or else kill
your opponent some other way. Otherwise the game goes into a boundless
loop and ends in a draw; neither Animate Dead's abilities nor
Worldgorger Dragon's are optional. Most players who use this deck
accomplish both with a single copy of Ambassador Laquatas. They discard
the Ambassador with Bazaar of Baghdad and then, when they have more mana
than their opponent has cards left in their library, bring him into play
with Animate Dead instead of the Worldgorger Dragon. This doesn't cause
a loop like WGD does, so the loop ends. They then pump all the mana
they've built up into Ambassador Laquatas' ability, decking their
opponent. The next time that player would draw a card, typically on
their next draw step, they lose the game.
