Worried about bottlenecking with this build

(i3-4150 + gtx970)

I know I'm going to get some form of bottlenecking, but how much? Would it be worth getting this now and waiting to upgrade in a while (about 1 1/2 years)?

You need to look at benchmarks for individual games. Some are more CPU bound than others.
