I'm using a asus p7p55d le, and the motherboard when gaming can get to up to 70 degrees and i'm not sure if that's safe.

Solution
this is on stock cooler you have few option repaste with a well known brand paste like mx-2 or mx-4 you could also get a evo 212 with a 120 mm fan to replace the stock one and how many case fan you have to create a air flow .

I don't have anything overclocked, and I'm using the stock cooler

At the moment no case fans, that's why I've left the side panel off. I'm planning on getting a define r4 and the h80 cooler. And I'll probably use one of the pastes you have recommended
