Worried about new PSU

I just ordered a EVGA Supernova 750W from amazon. Im worried about it coming in DOA. What is the likelihood of it coming in DOA? What are some precautions i can take to make sure it wont damage my other computer parts?

Don't be. I have ordered more than 20+ psus for personal builds and never had one arrived dead. It's really unlikely.

there is always a chance of a defective product, statistically speaking, however i wouldnt worry since evga g2 (leadex platform , Super Flower made) is among the best psu in the market, tier 1 very highly praised psu! no chance of damaging your other components with such high quality unit!

That's a high quality power supply , as long as it's not the 750w Nex version , which it isn't you will be fine.
