Worried about temperature

So, I initially started with a Dell Inspiron 570, but I've slowly switched out some parts. Currently have upgraded my boot drive to a Samsung SSD 840 EVO 250GB, just upgraded the initial HD to a Seagate 3TB SATA drive, and running an ASUS Radeon R9 270 video card. I've upgraded the power supply to a Corsair CX750M.

The CPU is an AMD Athlon II x4 630, the motherboard chipset an AMD RS880 + SB750/SB710

Normally, the computer seems to run fine... but I'm a gamer, and my latest pursuit is Wildstar. It doesn't immediately happen, but even if I shut down all other programs, I can hear the video card working hard, and should I put my hand near the exhaust fan in the back, it gets pretty warm.

What are your best suggestions for cooling down the computer? I don't know if that's what's making the fans work so hard, but I'm hoping to make everything run cool, if not quiet (got some good headphones)

Can do. Just updated a bunch of drivers, so now SpeedFan is working instead of crashing. Core is at 56, GPU is at 35, fans 1 and 2 are at 56C and 57C, fan 3 is at 87C

Is your computer in a place that can get warm really easily (e.g. cropped space, etc.)? If so, try to move your computer. Also, was this measured while under pressure (after intensively using pc)?

The computer is under my desk, but there are a couple of inches of space, and the front door is open, while the back is open, but not near where the exhaust fan is.

I've been running Wildstar for the past couple of hours, and using a couple different programs to monitor temperatures. Sometime in the past 10 minutes, the temps spiked to close to 70 on the video card. The core still remains between 55 and 60, but closer to the 60 with Wildstar in the background. I'll try and play some more so I can get a clear reading while the fan's whirling away.

the GPU is perfectly fine up to about 85c. Don't even worry about70c. That is cool for a GPU at load.

Your CPU temps are fine too. You have nothing to worry about.

Also, 750w is WAY overkill for that system. 500w would be plenty.

Okay, after running, seeing that the GPU temps are running around 71 when it's rolling. Guess I just got a video card with a loud fan? Unfortunately, I don't have the space to pull it out of the desk.

Yeah, I bought it because it -was- overkill... I had upgraded it from the Fatal1ty 550W that died on me (it had a good 3 and a half year run). I'd like to get more into replacing parts as they go instead of buying something new altogether.

Still, if I could keep things nice and cool, I'd love to do so. Which is why I'm wondering about replacing CPU fans, adding fans, and maybe just buying a new case altogether. Computer might like to run hot, but it's summer around here.

I would not worry about anything as your computer is not running hot.

At very most I would replace the CPU cooler with a Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO and add maybe one more case fan.

Also, the PSU you have now, isn't very great quality. If you wanted a proper quality and size PSU for this system to last a long time, I would have recommended an XFX550.

I agree with tiny voices. Temps look fine.

Adding more fans may only increase overall noise.

graphics cards will always run hot if you dont have a side cut-out on your case. But i wouldn't worry about it.
