Hey guys, just playing games on low settings takes my R9 280X Twin Frozr 3GB up to 65 degrees. Just wondering if this is pretty hot, I'm having to keep fans on near enough 100% to get any use out of it, what do we think? Can anyone give me temperatures of their gpu?

Cheers

No side panel on and 2 Corsair AF120mm on top and then a stock intake and exhaust. Plus a Hyper Cooler 212 to add

But yes, 100% fans to keep it normal. Doesn't seem right really.

I've got mine set run 70% at 70 degrees and it never breaches that. 65 is around 65 for your reference.

I've just had 30 mins on BF4 at ultra and it didn't go above 65 degrees. I could definitely go more aggressive and be even cooler if I could tolerate the noise.

Remember these cards do run very hot, 65 isn't an issue at all.

So 1 intake and 3 exhaust? You might be better with the side panel on to promote airflow.

No it's 3 intake 1 exhaust, this is a first build and still working out how fans manage best and nope I've changed it in afterburner, if I set it to like 70% fan speed it still reaches these temps.

The temperature isn't bad, AMD cards seem to run hotter than Nvidia anyway and load temps of 75C aren't uncommon for other designs but try running the fans at a lower speed, as suggested by i7Baby.
Also you've got the fans poorly set up, put the AF 120s as intakes in order to bring as much cool air in as possible, one rear and the PSU should handle the exhaust requirements well enough.
