Worse performance after overclock.

Hey!

Recently overclocked my cpu and there was worse performance on cinebench. Before there was around 1200 and now its between 900 an 1000. I removed the overclock and after that it was still worse then before. Why does this happen and how do i solve it?

Have you cleared the CMOS?

phanteks enthoo pro
16gb ram

Going to try clearing cmos later.

Did you bench right before the OC or was it sometime farther back (days, weeks)?

It was a few days back, tried clearing cmos by the way, didnt help.
The overclock was done in Ryzen Master.

Benchmark it again, but this time monitor the clockspeed of your cpu throughout the benchmark.
