Hello I was wondering if it is worth adding another MSI GTX 970 to this build for SLI since I can get a used one for between 80-120 euros now, compared to getting a new GPU for 500 euros.

Also any advice regarding other upgrades for this build would be appreciated! I have recently been noticing that my PC is having more issues to handle current games on decent settings, so been wondering what to upgrade and what to keep the same.

Thanks in advance for responding!

My build:

CPU: Intel I5-4690K
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Motherboard: Asrock Fatal1ty z97x
GPU: MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4g
HDD: WD Green 1TB
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250gb
RAM: 8 GB G.Skill Ripjaw
PSU: Seasonic s12g-750 Gold rating
Casing: Cooler Master Trooper

Hmm the reason why I was thinking of adding another gtx 970 was because I found a few sites stating that gtx 970 SLI was a bit worse, but comparable, as a 2070. If I were to purchase a gtx 2070 would I run into any bottle necks concerning my other current parts?

So would getting a gtx 970 for SLI to bridge the next 2-3 years be worth it till I replace a large part of my PC, or would getting a 2070 now be better? The main reason I am considering going for the SLI is because of the huge price difference since a 970 is 100 euros and a 2070 will cost me 500 euros.
