Worth it to Step Up

Hey everyone,

I have a GTX 260 and was wondering if it's worth it to spend the $90 to step up(EVGA) to a GTX 465. I play primarily FPS games and RPG games(single player only) @1680x1050 but also sometimes play on my 37in LCD tv.

The GTX 465 offers a bit more performance, but not worth the $90 in my opinion. I would pay another $50 on top of that $90 if possible for the GTX 470.

Save your money and get GTX470 when you have it...

Trading in your card for a GTX 470 is actually more expensive than if you would have bought the card w/o the trade in.

I traded a 9800GTX for a GTX 260 and ended up paying over 120.00. Personally if your trade in timeframe is not going to expire anytime soon I would wait for the GTX 460. This way you pay less w/o sacrificing performance.

I would say no, it's not really worth it and I'm not sure if the GTX470 would be a good purchase either, the P II may not be able to feed it properly.
