Worth the money and upgrade ?

Hi,
I Currently have the Z87 GD65 gaming Motherboard. Have it for a year or so.
I was wondering .. Is it worth the money and upgrade to buy the new z97 Gaming 6-7 ?
Or should I stick with the z87 ?
Money isnt actually a problem. But im planning to buy a new Case and Blu ray drive aswell so..
Would be a big spend

I don't actually see any big benefits of upgrading the mobo signce the only gain here is the increase in USB 3 ports and supported ram frequency is about 3300mhz for z97 compared to 300mhz(OC) for the z87. On the other hand, the VGA Max Share Memory (MB) in the z97 card is just 512mb while the z87 ia 1024mb.

I would say better stick with the z87.

hmm.. As I see, better spend the 200 dollars on my case then
I will not use so many usb 3.0 ports though. Have 4 on the backside atm and 1 at the front of the case. have two 3.0 ports open atm so..

There's really no point on upgrading your MoBo if you're not changing CPU or want a new very specific feature that only other MoBo has or yours has problems.

MoBos don't affect gaming performance.

I say stay with your MoBo.

Yeah tought so too actually.
But I saw the new z97 and the new features, I tought it was worth the upgrade at first
But good point. My Mb does its job good, no problems as far as I notice. It does support all my components
