So im about to change my vga , currently i have a evga gtx 460 sc , im planing on change for something much better , this are my current options and the best prices i could find so far in my country :

xfx HD7870 (single fan) : 370usd

evga gtx 660ti : 450usd

MSI R7870 Twin Frozr 2GD5/OC : 399usd

MSI N660TI PE2GD5/OC : 459usd

And finally gtx670 the price is around the 600usd

So what do you guys think? is the price difference between the 7870 and the 660ti worth it , and same whit the 660ti and the 670 , there is a big difference on that last one, around 150usd , are those 150usd worth???

The computer will be mainly used for gaming , the latest games , the new vga will be accompanied with a i5 3570k cpu and 8gb ddr3 ram , and power usage is not a problem i have a good enough psu for any of those vga.

Just to clarify , getting one of these from outside my country is not posible , with all the taxes my country have to get something from outside , the prices will be the same or even higher than the ones in the local market , and i wont have the local warranty.

Well , hope you guys can help me , thx in advance , and sorry for the poor english.

Any of those cards will be a nice boost for you.

If you already owned any one of them, you would not change it out since any change in performance would be detectable only with a synthetic benchmark.

Nothing wrong with a factory overclocked version either, you are getting appropriate performance for your incremental dollar.

As to the difference between a 7870 and a GTX660ti.
7870 should benchmark better fps while GTX660ti should be smoother.
Here is one article on that:

My guess is that the GTX660ti/oc would be good.
If you have the funds, you will not regret the GTX670.

It's hard to advise you as YOU are the only person who can really decide if it's worth it.

Some points:
- if you play modern, demanding games get the best graphics card you can afford
- the HD7000 series has some GAMES included (digital download) so investigate that
- the GTX660Ti has memory bandwidth issues (i.e. above 4xAA at 1920x1080)
- *Whatever card you get, make sure it:
a) has a good cooling solution (Sapphire Vapor-X, or Asus DC2 for example)
b) customer reviews appear good (no major issues with dead cards or too noisy etc)

Graphics Card:
Here's an EXAMPLE of a great value and an explanation: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202003
- two GAMES (digital download of Crysis 3 and Bioshock Infinite)
- good cooling
- good customer reviews
- great value

Game examples:
1) Diablo 3 - it doesn't matter what card you get
2) Far Cry 3 - very, very demanding game (best graphics card)
3) BF3 - need GTX680/HD7970 for near best quality, however still looks/runs good on an HD7870

Summary:
Get the BEST graphics card you can afford. With two free games, good reviews and reasonable cost the HD7950 from Sapphire seems a good buy.
