[SOLVED] Worth to upgrade from ryzen 5 1600x to ryzen 5 3600?

I noticed I have AB350M Pro4 which is capable to run ryzen 5 3600 with bios update so is it worth to upgrade from 5 1600x to it?

Depends on your gpu I would say. Assuming we are talkinc gaming performance I would check if you are cpu bottlenecked in your games e.g. cpu 100 percent load and gpu only 60 or so. That would indicate some unused headroom in your gpu department that could be unlocked via an upgrade to the 3600.

Well atm I'm using MSI Gtx 980 gaming 4gb for 6 months and then I'm not sure if I buy the same or something else.

That setup sounds quite balaced to me. If you are curious you could check loads in game with rivertuner overlay or HWmonitor. I dont think you will gain much fps in a game with decend graphics. If you want 144 Hz Esports maybe you could see an improvement with the 3600.
