Worth upgrading CPU?

I currently have an 8320 and only play raiding mmo's like WoD and swtor. I will only play raiding mmo's on my PC. My question is if it is worth it to upgrade to an i5 or i7 or to just get another mobo and overclock my 8320? I have an SSD, 8GB ram, gtx 760, and am wondering what kind of gains I could get from a switch? Oh and I will be using an IPS monitor if that helps.

Although you'd see some improvement by switching to a 4690K/4790K, your money would be better spent on upgrading your graphics card. A healthy overclock on the 8320 which can be done to to match the 8350/8370 in tandem with maybe a GTX 970 purchase would be optimal

The 8320 is very capable of gaming, even today. You'd see some modest gains, but not enough to justify a whole new setup. I've always been an Intel person, so if there was any noticeable benefit for you, I'd definitely tell you 😉.

Overclock your 8320.

Thank you. Any suggestions on a few motherboards that can handle a strong overclock and 970? Is there a decent budget board so I can get the 970?
