Looking to upgrade my current 1080 monitor to a 1440. I am looking around the $300 range. This would be mainly used for gaming. I will probably not be doing any more upgrades as far as CPU and GPU for a while so I'm trying to find out if the performance improvement would justify the cost. From the research that I've done it seems to depend on your current hardware but there seems to be a lot of factors and I'm getting lost.
Any suggestions on monitors are appreciated as well.
