Hello,

My current system is a Ryzen 5 3600 @ 4.3 Ghz, GTX 1070 G1 @ 2000-2070 Mhz boost, 9 Ghz memory, 16 GB DDR4 3200 memory, with about 1.5TB of SSD storage for the OS, games, and data.

Is adding 160-170$ for an Aorus 1080 Ti worth it?

The 1070 seems to play games comfortably so I'm just not sure if the 1080Ti will make a significant difference. Any users with a 1080Ti wish to share their opinion on the experience?

My monitor is Samsung CJG5 Series 27-Inch WQHD (2560 x 1440) 144Hz 4ms Curved.

Solution
The 1080Ti is a much more suitable 1440p 144hz card, than the 1080 144hz, 1440p 60hz card the 1070 is.

The problem is, I don't know if the upgrade is significant enough to be worth it, especially with new cards coming out that will make older cards super cheap (when they get in stock...)

If you compare it to a new 170$ card, which would be the gtx 1660 I think, maybe even the 1650 super, It's a heck of a deal.
But, in my opinion, if you want an upgrade, you should look higher, and/or newer.
say the 3070, or a 2080 super.
