[SOLVED] Worth upgrading gtx 980 ti to 1070 ti?

Hi guys, i found a buyer for my 980 ti for about 180 usd. Is it worth selling it and getting a 1070 ti? The gtx 980 ti is evga classified so it has pretty high boost clock while the 1070 ti is msi armor. The 1070 ti costs around 230usd used.

Not worth it. The 980TI, 1660 Super, 1070 and 1070ti are almost all the same.

Even if i just paid 50usd extra for the 1070 ti? Because im switching over to 1440p soon so i figured the extra vram would come in handy as well as freesync support and lower tdp

1070ti not gonna cut it at 1440p.

To be honest, for 1440p you'll want something more powerful, like a 1080 or a 2070. I've seen examples of both being sold used for around $300.
