Worth Upgrading my GPU yet?

With the recommended specs for a lot of up coming games getting higher and higher I was wondering if it would be worth upgrading my GPU yet. I'm currently running a Radeon R9 280X Boost and it is doing fine so far but I'm worried about how it will handle some up coming releases (Far Cry 4).

What would you guys recommend? Upgrading now or sticking with it for the time being? And if you do think I should shell out for a new card which should I go for?

Might want to wait for the 8GB versions of the GTX 970's to arrive and see what happens to the prices on the 4GB versions at that time.

I'd wait till I can no longer play latest titles on Ultra/ High with decent 40+ FPS. Your card is still quite capable of running games on ultra, wait till R9 300 series releases in Feb next year.

use your 280x.. its still a enthusiast grade gpu.. it will take a while to turn that card "old"

also, donot buy the 8gig version cards! it is a marketing ploy and a waste of money.. the memory bandwidth of even the latest cards cant cross 4gb even on 100% load...

they are not powerful enough to buffer 8GBs so its literally just going to sit there

unless you have a 4k..then buy an 8gig version
