I am convinced to upgrade to Windows 11 for the better gaming performance and AAC bluetooth audio but I have an i7-6700k.
Will I be fine with a lower generation cpu?

I just read about the reduced CPU usage, especially on demanding games like Battlefield 2042

There is very little difference between 10 and 11.
I expect most of that "reduced" is simply from a new OS install....the new 11.
Not any difference between 10 and 11.


And if you're on an unsupported platform (6th gen Intel), other weirdnesses might present.

I don't use AAC, so I can't personally say for sure, but it sure looks like they added it to Windows 10 a while ago.
