Worthwhile overclocking with these components?

Hello! i have never overclocked any components and i want to know if it is worth it with my components? I cant OC my CPU so is it worth it to just OC my gtx 1070? Any bottleneck or so?

Not really worth it most likely. You my be able to squeeze a few FPS out of a GPU OC if you wanna play around. Set it to +140 clock and +450 on the memory & see what it does for you if you want. Just watch your GPU temps.

You spent a lot of money on a video card. It plays all your games at max or near max settings. Why mess with something that isn't broke. Of course there is the possibility that you could break it. Though that is a slight possibility.

My view is leave well enough alone. I know I am saying this and if you notice I overclock my cpu. However my video card cost a lot more. I will not take a chance ruining it. Should you?
