would 550w PSU be enough to power up Gigabyte GTX 980 G1 Gaming OC edition?

So I'm planning to build a gaming rig this year and I decided to buy the components one by one, not all at once. here's the stuff that I've got so far:

- Intel i7 6700K
-16 GB Corsair Vengeance LPX
- Gigabyte Z170X Gaming 5
- Gigabyte GTX 980 G1 Gaming OC edition (It was a good deal though)
(no intention doing SLI)

The next component would be a psu. I'm planning to get an EVGA SuperNOVA 550 GS for my rig. but the problem is, would it be enough to power up my gpu? besides, I would be doing some overclocking on my gpu (not cpu) as soon as I'm done with the rest. let me know what you guys think.

550W is barebones minimum for what you have listed Ghost_5.
750-800W gold certified from EVGA or Seasonic, if you intend OC and for future expansion and would be a safer bet.

Corsair RM650X, EVGA 650w G2 or GS. If you want to go SLI then get a 750-850w model.
