Would A 2001 Toyota Avalon Stock Radio Read A CD-R Data Disc

I own 2001 Avalon sedan and I'm having problems with my tape deck. I wanted to know if I burn a CD Data from iTunes, will it play in my CD player. For some reason I have burned audio cd's before and they have not played, but I had success before making data discs, but I don't want to waste a disc. I just need to know if it will work.

It will not read a data disc. I would know, I had 2002 Toyota Solara and the deck wouldn't read anything other than music discs.

How have you burned music CDs? Mine played burned music CDs just fine.
