would a 300 watt 80 plus bronze power supply be more efficient that a 450 80 plus gold power supply?

I have a 450 watt modular 80 plus gold power supply from an old build but I am building a new pc with an intel i-3 8th gen k model with overclock and a gtx 1050ti. Wondering if getting a power supply for the bare minimum recommended wattage would be more efficient, unfortunately they don't make any low watt titanium rated or anything beter than bronze.

Solution
no.
assuming the rating are accurate the gold is more efficient at any wattage than a bronze or a plus unit.
a platinum unit is even more efficient and a titanium unit is even more efficient.
if you get a 550W unit and it is a gold unit which should be 87-90% efficient it will waste @ 55-60W to produce 550W for a total draw from the wall of 610W
a similar 550W unit but in bronze 82-85% efficient would draw more wattage to produce the same 550W would draw in the area of 625W.

if you get double what you need, assuming 300 is bottom, getting a 600W unit would run a bit cooler and maybe quieter than a 400W unit running at 75 percent (providing the same 300W)
