[SOLVED] Would a 5700X work on an Asus TUF B450 Plus Gaming motherboard?

I have the Asus TUF B450 Plus Gaming motherboard and I am currently running a Ryzen 2600 and I was wondering if the 5700X would work perfectly fine in the motherboard. I know the CPU is officially supported but I don't wanna ruin my motherboard if the CPU is too much for the VRMs. I also have a case with 2 fans on the side panel that point directly onto the cpu/ram/vrm and 1 exhaust fan. My PSU is an 80+ Gold 750W unit so it most likely won't be an issue. I would use the PC for gaming and light video editing and rendering. Thanks in advance for your help!

Both CPUs, R5 2600 and R7 5700X are 65W CPUs. So, how would R7 5700X "ruin" your MoBo or be "too much" for MoBo VRMs?

Yes, 2 more physical cores but also more power efficient due to newer design.

If the VRM can handle then it is ok to install this CPU in this mobo.
