Would a GTX 1080 be able to run efficiently on a 750 watt PSU

I am thinking about buying a GTX 1080 SC and am wondering if it can run with a 750 watt PSU.

750w is plenty . 550w is enough for most of the setups . Just get a gold/bronze 80+ 550w .
