Would a 750ti last as long as the xbox one/ps4

750ti is slightly less powerful than the solution in the Xbox/ps. you will need a gtx 950. But its really close.

Consoles last however as long as the manufacturer will continue to manufacture and support them, which is usually much longer than any individual desktop GPU. The main selling point of consoles is hassle-free gaming since console games are tuned specifically for the hardware found in the target console(s) instead of some level of PC hardware. The XBO and PS4 will still be around even after the GTX980Ti and FuryX are discontinued.

In therms of GFLOPS it is close.
BUT the gaming experience is not about GFLOPS and computing performance.
The consoles generally last longer than graphics cards and they are made for different users.
But if you are into getting one of them to last for 2-3 years, you should definitely get a console.
