Would a gtx 960 sli setup work on a dell optiplex 790

I recently bought a dell optiplex 790 mini tower on ebay and upgraded it so it has 8gb ram and a gt 1030 so it can now play games like fortnite at 60fps high settings but I was thinking about upgrading it to 10 or 12gb of ram and putting a gtx 960 4gb sli in there....

I am fully aware as stated in the technical guidebook that the x16 slot supports 35w max and the x16 wired as X4 slot supports 25 w max but this could be worked around by using cards that require a 6 pin connector but don't use all of the power supplied by the 6 pin.

Long story short will an sli work in the dell optiplex 790 mini tower?

According to the only info I can find, no it won't run an SLi setup.
