Would a gx550w be enough?

Solution
The 44 Amps on the single +12V Rail make it sufficient enough an i5-4670k+RX 480 but It's an outdated power supply. If you don't already own one you'll find better power supplies for the price.

A high 450 watts PSU or higher is usually enough to run an RX 480 without heavy overclocks taken into account.

Yes. Now for the controversial statement. You would be hard pressed to find any normal build that uses current parts that would exceed a 550W power supply. By normal build I mead: CPU, Single graphics, Hard drive and/or SSD, memory, DVD-drive, miscellaneous additions.

Right now I don't have the money for it but i can probably wait to christmas.
