would a Intel i7-4770 CPU @3.40GHz bottleneck GTX 750Ti?

This is my setup right now. Is there anything I need to change?

Motherboard : Gigabyte H81M-S
RAM : Kingston 8.00 GB
Operating System : Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Graphic card : NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB

There is no way that i7 will bottleneck the gpu, its a powerfull CPU at today.

But, now, if you want to play @ 1080p, then you will have a bad time.

Will not bottleneck. Bottlenecks would start at the GTX 1080 OC range. It won't be very noticeable unless you play CPU intensive games like Cities Skylines or GTA V

That's a good point. A higher GPU load will help the CPU to not be so stressed while trying to send information to the GPU.

Depends on the monitor.
For 1080p - GTX 1060
for 1080p@144Hz or 1440p - GTX 1070

I get my graphics cards through cutting edge gamer and I've had 3 different GTX 1080's. Before I returned my old GTX 1080 I tried my old GTX 1080 in sli with my new one and I got much better performance than on a single overclocked GTX 1080. I have a Core i7 4770K at 4GHz and that's not much better than a 4770. So if it's going to bottleneck a single GTX 1080 overclocked then why would I still get better performance with sli GTX 1080's?
