Hi, I would like to know if a newer graphics card will work with an older motherboard, I currently have a Gigabyte B75M-D3H LGA 1155 with an Intel i5-2500k CPU, the motherboard which is from 2012 and the last BIOS update was in 2013, I currently use a GTX 660 with it but I'm looking to upgrade the GPU, would it be possible to use newer GPUs like the GTX 1660?

Yes it does, your motherboard has compatible 3.0 x16 slot for GPU so it will work. The other question is does you power supply has 8-pin connector and is it strong enough. This GPU TDP is 120w so if u have a good 500w or higher PSU it should work. The processor you have will be a bottleneck so you should plan on upgrading your whole PC. If you are okay with FPS u get, dont change it then but i suggest you to change the whole system ASAP.
