Would a R9 270x work with a Cupertino2 motherboard

Hi, I was just wondering if I upgraded my gpu to a R9 270x or gtx 660 ti would they be conpatable and work with and 4year old Mobo. The Cupertino2... With a i5 CPU .. All from an old hp (Pc-2053uk)

Yes your motherboard is 100% compatible with the new graphics card, the graphics card uses a PCI-E x16 slot and your motherboard has one, though I would recommend upgrading to a newer motherboard like the Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H or similar, good motherboards aren't as pricy and is very important for your PC, Happy Holidays and good luck
