Would a Radeon r9 270x work with my Dell OR849J?

Is this a tower or a laptop? How many watts does your PSu have? What processor do you have?

Its a tower, my current psu is a 300W but I am getting an XFX TS 550W PSU. My processor is an Intel Core i7 920 @2.67 GHz
I more so meant would the card work with the mother board (PCI-Express)

Its a tower, my current psu is a 300W but I am getting an XFX TS 550W PSU. My processor is an Intel Core i7 920 @2.67 GHz

it will work just fine, make sure theres enough space in the case for it

Would 300Watts be enough? How much does the GPU recommend? If you have enough wattage then you can definitely support this GPU. Any tower motherboard will work with any desktop GPU. Yes with your new 550 watt you should be able to support this upgrade.
