Question Would a RTX 3060 be worth the CPU - GPU bottleneck (new build) ?

Do note I am trying to keep this build as close to £1000 as possible
I know thanks to this link (https://www.gpucheck.com/en-usd/gpu/nvidia-geforce-rtx-3050/intel-core-i3-12100/high) that I'd get around a 5fps - 6fps loss which isn't much however if I were to swap out for a 3060/3060ti it would increase the bottleneck however it would open up the option to get a GPU with more memory (12GB) for just around £100 more. Would this be worth it?

Consider skipping that and put the money toward a 12400.

(went for the 12600K as it allows for overclocking and isn't that much more rather than going for a 12400)

Just my opinion:
Stick with the 12400. It is nicely balanced with a 3060 class card.
It also comes with adequate stock cooler.
Overclocking for gaming is not as effective as using the normal turbo mechanism.

On the psu, buy 750w or even 850w to handle a possible future graphics upgrade.
And... buy a psu with at least a 7 to 10 year warranty.

Buy a single quality m.2 pcie ssd to be used for windows and apps. Do not go cheap on this.
Do not chase fast benchmarks. You will never notice.

Skip the boot SSD, you can always add storage later.

Not a fan of 27" 1080p monitors. Alright for multimedia and gaming, but pretty poor for general reading/working/browsing. Pixel density is just too low. But that depends a lot on how good your vision is.

And you really should have a higher quality power supply.

I think you will find the RX6700 blows the RTX 3060 out of the water for gaming, and included a 1440p monitor for more future proofness. (Well, maybe not, but the price is right)

Found a full size motherboard for a little less, still has WiFi, and slightly cheaper ram.
