my thinkpad T420s has a i7 processor with 8 gb ram, Nvidia 4200 video card & Samsung 128gb SSD. It has room to install an m-sata SSD. Rather than replacing the OEM SSD, I'd like to increase on board storage with a 1 tb msata ssd (e.g. Samsung evo ) rather than removing the original SSD..
Would adding a larger m-sata ssd work in this older machine? Would it tend to overheat the windows 7 home premium system?
Thanks
