Would anyone please be able to explain to me what Hybrid Bios is?

Hello im looking at getting a MSI NVIDIA GTX 750Ti Gaming 1085MHz (Boost 1163MHz) 5400MHz 2GB 128-bit DDR5 DL-DVI-D HDMI PCI-E Graphics Card for my hp pavilion and have been told i will need to get one with hybrid bios included but i have no idea what that is or what it does? I first bought an asus nvidia gtx 750 TI which turned out to be incompatible with my motherboard in my HP Pavilion HPE h8-1070uk Desktop PC. I have looked online and spoken to someone over on the msi forums but havnt seemed to get an answer from them as to what hybrid bios is or whether it would actually work for me with the compatibility issues im having. Hope you can help im pretty new to pc upgrading and still learning,

A Hybrid BIOS gives support for a legacy BIOS, which most HP motherboards used until late 2011 IIRC. It is advised to use a Hybrid BIOS with a legacy motherboard BIOS since there can be compatibility issues otherwise, but most people don't run into a problem.

Since you are having a problem, a 750 Ti with a Hybrid BIOS may help you.
