[SOLVED] Will anything break if I change the full name associated with my account from macOS preferences?

I have activated apps like Ableton Live, UVIWorkstation, etc. with valid licenses. Will they require new activation if I change the full name of my account?

System preferences > Users and Groups > Right Click on Current user > Advanced Options > Changing the full name and leaving everything unchanged

When you installed, did it ask if you wanted it for just your user or all users? To test, would create another user on your machine (Test) and try to use those apps.

Changing home folder names can be complicated.

Tested. Yes. It requires new activation for a new account.

Well alright, there is your answer. You can delete the "test" user by logging back in as your original then go back to users and delete. And delete all folders so it doesn't take up any nominal space.

Update:
I took the risk and changed the full name only and left everything else unchanged. The apps I mentioned stayed activated since my home folder's name is not changed.
