Hi guys after much searching through google i turn to you all for help!

Currently i am looking to move in to the outhouse in my home, the phone line beginning on the complete other side of the house is running an old exicom 610 cable which is right next to the cable that runs out to the the street that telstra has installed. As i play a lot of games i am wondering if speeds/ping will be greatly affected and if changing to something like an rj11 socket will help? the distance will be about 50-60 meters, what will be the best way of rigging this up so that my ping is at its lowest? Appreciate any help!

Will there be any difference is speeds going from a 610 to a cat5 cable or something? also ready people saying that a rj45 with a cat6a cable might be my best bet?

I do realize that i can't do alot of this myself and will need to get someone in who is licensed i just wanna have an idea of what to ask for when i get him in/if i need him in :)

Solution
If I'm not wrong RJ11 will not get you internet, only phone.
Best bet is a CAT6 to a router/modem and everything else gets it from the router/modem.

If there is a router in your house, you could connect a Cat 6 to it and just run it so it goes outside, if that is possible, as in if you don't have to drill too many holes. You'll want a Cat 6 that is built for outdoor use.
