Would attaching a new wireless dongle to USB3 make a difference?

Just a thought, the dongle I have is quite new and USB3 is supposedly faster than USB2?

USB 3 has a higher data transfer rate but the dongle can only hadle so much data at one time so it may make a difference but then again I doubt it will be a huge difference.
