I recently bricked my mother board by turning it off during a bios update. I'm not sure of the motherboard exact model but it was in a Asus g11cd i5 6400 CPU and GTX 1060 6gb. It's a Asus motherboard. Thanks.
Just changing the chip won't change anything unless the chip contains correct data (BIOS). I'd rather look for a way to reprogram your chip with correct BIOS file using an external flash programmer.
