Would GTX 650 run on a PCI - Express x16 1.0

Hello, I have a Hp DC7900 which has a 350 Watt power supply. I'm buying a new Graphics card and wondering would this work on my computer?

350W should handle it. Make sure the PSU has a 6 pin PCIe plug or the video card comes with a molex to 6 pin adapter. PCI express 2.x and 3.0 cards are backwards compatible with 1.0 slots.

Pci exp 3.0 are backward compaitable with pci 2 and 1.0 slot and there will be no performance loss.your psu is fine

gtx 650 doesnot need 6pin connector.its tdp is 64w.

instructions that came with my GTX650 said it needed 6pin and had 6pin socket on it !!
Also came with molex adaptor

You're right about the TDP but most board partners choose to require a 6 pin. I haven't seen a 650 without one.
