Hello, I just got a Galaxy gtx 670 Gc with the reference cooler. Would I be able to OC it or will it not do me any good to OC it? Or am I fine with the factory OC on it? Thanks.

Solution
you may be able to overclock a bit, provided you created a custom fan profile to run the fan faster at lower temps. you can do this with afterburner, or evga precisionx. just make sure your temps are not too high, less than 80 celsuis

Ok, and would you know any things what I can change to a steady OC? I am new to OCing and would like some tips, thanks!

i wouldnt overvolt that card with the reference cooler on it, leave the stock voltage and slowly increase the gpu clock offset. make sure you are always monitoring your temps when gaming. overclocking is a slow and sometimes frusterating process. it can take a while, because sometimes crashes don t occur for half an hour or more. what is the stock boost clock on your card? not what it says on the box, the actual max boost speed you are hitting?

I see it hitting I think maybe 1200 mhz on BF4? I'll have to check
