Question Would I Benefit From More RAM ?

Ram: 2 x 4GB of HyperX Fury DDR4
SSD/HDD: SSD 120GB, HDD 1TB
GPU: Radeon Vega RX Graphics
PSU: Cooler Master MasterWatt Lite 500W 80 Plus
Chassis: Fractal Design
OS: Linux Ubuntu

I use my PC for web browsing and playing CS GO
Considering getting an upgrade of RAM to make 2x8GB of HyperX Fury 2400mhz - but only if it will benefit me ?

My PC boots up and shuts down in seconds, apps load instantly and so does web browsing.

Thanks dude but I don't do any multi-tasking.

If I was to upgrade to 2x8GB of DDR4 2400mhz RAM it would be £65 UK ( $80 USD )
Would go for HyperX Fury as I know it will run well in my PC
Is that a good price ?

Is it possible to run 1x4GB and 1x8GB to make 12GB? OR would it have to be 2x8GB to make 16GB

For Ryzen, yes. A 2x8gb 3000mhz or higher will benefit you.

If it supports 3200 (O.C) will it run stable or do I risk it crashing ? Think i may play it safe and get 2400mhz instead

The PC is fast enough as it is, and it's quite a lot to spend so i'll have to give it a think

Enable XMP/D.O.C.P and that should do it.
